Challenges are a form of motivation

Alessandro Bollini from BusStore Italy loves competition

The Emilia-Romagna region is called the "Motor Valley". This region in northern Italy is home to famous high-end cars. Imola is a traditional venue for motor racing. The love for motor vehicles can be felt in the region around Parma, Bologna and Modena as keenly as the passion for Parma ham, pasta and balsamic vinegar. All of this goes hand in hand with aspiring to deliver the best possible quality and top performance in all areas.

The highest-quality buses and coaches with the best service

"I like competition and challenges are a form of motivation," says Alessandro Bollini, Sales Manager at the Italian BusStore in Modena, at the heart of Motor Valley. For sports-mad Alessandro who loves skiing, mountain-biking and every challenge, this area is a perfect fit. "The quality of the buses and coaches and the best possible service," he gives as the most important features of the BusStore Centre Modena.

"I like competition and challenges motivate me."

Comprehensive retrofit service according to customer's wishes.

The BusStore in Modena, which opened in 2013, has a workshop, spare parts warehouse and equipment for body construction alongside a customer centre. Customers are offered a very thorough retrofit service, adds Bollini. Retrofits and refurbishments can be carried out on-site, with a strong emphasis on catering to the individual wishes of customers, which the BusStore Manager is keen to emphasise. The Italian BusStore branch also offers its customers the extra service of a bespoke finance plan.

Thanks to its strategic location, the BusStore is easy to reach from everywhere in Italy, says Alessandro Bollini. As well as domestic operators, these advantages are also appreciated by foreign customers, many of whom regularly come over to Modena.

A Setra for the fire brigade

"We have customers from very different sectors," Bollini adds, taking this opportunity to point out that Italy is one of the largest markets in Europe for pre-owned buses and coaches. He recalls the handover of a pre-owned Setra S 515 HD to the fire brigade in the Italian region of Marche, where more than 1,000 firefighters are on duty. In 2021, the coach was picked up from BusStore by a team of instructors from the region’s fire brigade, who will then train other drivers. Today, the coach is used to bring apprentice fire-fighters to central fire-fighting schools in Rome.

"We offer all kinds of buses and coaches."

Top performance you can feel

Buses and coaches in the Modena BusStore are usually around 5 or 6 years old. Typically between 50 and 60 units are available on site. Most of them are touring coaches, as this segment has the greatest demand. "But we offer all categories of buses and coaches," explains Bollini. This means we also take part in tenders and can also offer city buses if required.

The goal is to fulfil customer wishes as far as possible and to achieve excellence in all areas - Alessandro Bollini also demonstrates the attitude of a sportsman here. The results are there for all to see: "This excellence is something the customer can also feel on the road with their pre-owned vehicle," says Bollini. When asked how this can be achieved at the BusStore in Modena, he emphasises: "The key factor is the expertise and professional commitment of the employees." This ensures that the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle in Modena proceeds as quickly and smoothly as a pit stop in Formula 1.
